To finish our vacation we decided to do something a little different. We decided to challenge ourselves and see if we could survive in a small tent in cold Maine for four days.We planned to fill those days with hiking, biking, s'mores, and stargazing.

| On Thursday the campground was almost completely empty. Olive got to run around as much as she wanted! |

| We were much better prepared for this year's camping session than last year.... a tarp for rain, an inflatable mattress for more comfy nights, and a better tent. However, it didn't rain and our mattress required re-inflation every three hours. |

| First thing, we went to a beach. Called "Sandy Beach". Maine folks aren't the most creative with their naming. |

| We climbed "The Bubbles" and "Connor's Nobble". We're still not completely sure what a Nobble is. |

| Our hike ended with a walk around Jordan Pond and a second climb up the back side of the bubbles. |

| The next morning, we got up at 4 am to see the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the east coast. We got to see the sunrise first out of everyone in North America! |
